And after the city failed to reach an agreement to buy the trailer park, the city had the property condemned. Barbara Lee, the owner, hasn't been helping the city very much, if at all, in the efforts. I, personally, applaud Ms Lee and I wouldn't help them either. The city attorney, James Cook, said, of the residents who still remained on the land, "....their hardship is our hardship.." No, Mr Cook, you havent been kicked out of your house for a storm sewer.
